About Me
Parisa holds a master's degree in clinical psychology with a specialization in counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Parisa is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). She is also trained in Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to provide therapy for adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
Parisa founded her own practice on 2021 and has been providing therapy to clients who struggle with addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, grief, and emotion regulation.
Parisa has experience working in a variety of levels of care, including residential treatment and intensive outpatient programs. Parisa's experience includes individual and group therapy, couple, and family therapy, as well as case management and crisis intervention.
As a bicultural/bilingual therapist, Parisa is sensitive to the unique needs of clients who may be navigating between two cultures. She believes in a collaborative, individualized, and supportive approach to meeting clients where they are on their emotional growth and journey, and where they would like to go in the future.
